LA MOSCA was created by Marvin Kee ("the fly") in Calgary, AB in the summer of 2017.
After fifteen years as the bassist of legendary rhumba flamenco band Los Morenos,
Kee decided to depart the ensemble and assemble a new outfit featuring guitarist Manuel Jara (Manjar, Oscar Lopez).
They would be later joined by David Matyas (guitar) and Samuel Downie (drums). Together they combine flamenco rhythms with latin grooves garnished with dark funk and soul.
