Rootz Hardkore was born out of the Calgary Jam Scene. This band is fueled by the stylistic knowledge and lifeblood of our lead singer Ras Bagga, and a love for the spirit and feel of Jamaican music. While as an organized group, we did not start performing until mid 2017, the players that work in this band at various shows have years of history playing together. You will regularly see new players on the stage with us as we like to bring lots of different flavours and characteristics to our shows.
Rootz Hardkore will be bringing it's banging reggae showcase to Mikey's on 12th for the first time on Friday September 20th! We are so excited and can't wait to entertain you with our full 6 piece band's sound.
